AND WHAT IS IT ABOUT OURS THAT MAKES IT SO DANG DELICIOUS...

Maybe we're biased by the chill Vermont winters, but when it comes to coffee, we like it cold. The thing is, we don't like traditional iced coffee all that much: it's hot-brewed, which brings out the bitterness in the bean, and cooling it down gives it a bit of a stale taste.

 

That's where cold brewing comes in. Replacing the heat in the process with time and patience, cold brewing allows us to make a naturally sweeter, less acidic, more refreshing cup of coffee that brings out the full potential and complexity in the flavor of the coffee used.

 

That's why we choose cold brew, and try to make one for every kind of cold coffee drinker.

WHAT DRIVES US TO MAKE VERMONT'S FAVORITE COFFEE...

As dedicated college students and belligerent caffeine addicts, we experienced our fair share of the cold brewed coffees available in Vermont. After much experimentation, we decided that there was something missing from the market; and it was then, in early 2016, that we launched our Original Brew.

After working with local roasters, and experimenting with different beans and roasts, we honed in on a delicious Timorese bean with a chocolate-y flavor profile perfect for a strong espresso-like cold brew. With that, we were on our way, and here we are a few years and new cold brews later, on a mission to bring the region the best coffee it has ever tasted.
